With nearly four decades of experience in the housing industry, I have been actively involved in construction since leaving school in 1985. Beginning with an apprenticeship in cabinetmaking and shopfitting, I went on to become employed at one of Perth’s largest builders. Over time, I progressed into maintenance management and construction management roles, working with some of Perth’s most respected building companies for over 21 years and completing more than 4,000 inspections within this period.
In the past eight years, I have successfully operated my own renovation company, further strengthening my hands on knowledge across all stages of residential construction.
I am known for my strong attention to detail and empathetic approach, ensuring clients feel informed, supported, and confident throughout the inspection process which was my motivation to start this business providing confidence to both client and builder in their journey.

I began my career in the Western Australian building industry as a bricklayer, working within a family business. During this time, I completed my Diploma in Building and went on to become a registered builder.
Over the course of my career, I have developed extensive knowledge across all levels of the industry. My experience has progressed across various building industry roles including Building Site Manager, Construction Manager, Building Manager, General Manager, and Building Company Owner.
I have spent a portion of my building career insuring contribution to the broader industry, serving as Vice Chair of the HIA Technical Committee, a member of the HIA Training Committee, and as a specialised committee member for the North Metropolitan TAFE Apprentice Advisory Group.
With over 40 years of experience delivering new homes, renovations, and extensions throughout Western Australia, I developed a wealth of practical knowledge to every project.
Transitioning into building inspections was a natural progression, allowing me to apply this experience and attention to detail to help clients make informed decisions with confidence.

We created this business with hands-on experience within the building and construction industry. We have both been involved in the construction and maintenance of homes allowing us to understand why something may be built the way it has, what problems could be a potential risk and being able to actively identify good or poor workmanship by trades. Absolutely! This is an additional inspection we offer that was created due to our previous experience with this common issue. We will attend the home after the waterproofing has been completed prior to any tiles being laid and inspect the waterproofing to your wet areas to ensure they are up to standard minimising any costly and damaging water leaks to your new home. We recommend this to our builders as well to allow thorough documentation through their build as well.

Once we have completed the inspection you will promptly receive your invoice. Once payment has been received you will then be sent your inspection report. If you are booking a single story or double story inspection the payments will be evenly distributed following each inspection.

We will send you a PDF version of your report through to your email within 24 hours of receiving payment. The only exception will be over the weekend in which you will receive your report on Monday.
